A Barista’s Experience at the NARS Brand Activation Event
As a barista, I have the pleasure of serving coffee at some of the most exciting events across Scotland and the UK. Few experiences compare to the recent brand activation I worked on for NARS. Known for their bold and luxurious approach to beauty, NARS created an immersive experience for their guests, and I was honored to provide the perfect cup of coffee to complement their vision.
A Perfect Blend of Coffee and Cosmetics
The activation took place in Glasgow, a stunning new boutique that set the stage for an elegant and engaging event. The atmosphere was buzzing with beauty enthusiasts, influencers, and industry professionals, all eager to explore the latest NARS products. From the moment guests arrived, they were treated to a multi-sensory experience—beautiful makeup displays, hands-on product testing, and, of course, the smell of speciality coffee filling the air, courtesy of our mobile coffee cart setup.

For an event as curated as this, the coffee experience had to be just as refined. As part of our coffee service, we collaborated with the NARS team to re-design the bar front and cup design that reflected their brand’s identity—sophisticated, bold, and artistic.
A standout element of the 2 day activation was the custom branded bar front featuring the NARS logo. Whether it’s an exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham or a brand pop-up, we love bringing creative coffee experiences to life.
Engaging with Guests and Enhancing Their Experience
Beyond the coffee itself, this activation allowed us to engage with guests uniquely. Many attendees were thrilled to share their love for both coffee and cosmetics, making for great conversations while they sipped on their drinks. It was inspiring to see how NARS built a community around beauty, and I was grateful to contribute to that experience with our coffee cart service.
